Finding myself on the edge of the tallest cliff

Where death awaits to embrace, silent and smiling

The final truth, feared and despised like all other truths,

Yet death's strangling arms are seductive

Its cold stare warm and loving

For in its eyes the promise of eternal rest holds true

Life always deceives but death never betrays!

Chasing Eternity

What if it would have been a bit different,

the present as we know it today?

And things would have turned out,

exactly as we hoped them to be one day?

The ones we miss so dearly,

would have never gone away?

The places we were so fond of,

would never seem so far away?

I sit by the sea and listen to the waves,

I try to hold the sand in my hands

I try to get the Sun to come back

Countless loves, countless passions

countless joys, countless trials

Countless smiles, countless tears

Countless memories, countless moments

And yet I look back and find myself lost

Chained by the ghosts of past

And yet I look ahead and find myself free

For I know,

each moment lived becomes eternity

Mind nagging

Everyone wants me to make up my mind

I’d like to tell them

I have made up my mind

To not make up my mind

And I truly hope, they do not mind!

After all, ain't it my own mind to mind?
